# AI assistants

> How AI assistants use Inteliwert: a read-only MCP server with four tools, the public read API, every page as Markdown and WebMCP tools in the browser.

Your assistant does the reasoning and the drafting. Inteliwert gives it current notices with their sources, and the official notice stays one link away.

## What an assistant can use today

No sign-in and no key. Every answer carries the link to the official notice and the time it was last checked.

### The MCP server

A remote server over the Model Context Protocol at https://api.inteliwert.com/mcp: Streamable HTTP, anonymous, read-only, rate-limited per IP address.

### The read API

Search and opportunity records as JSON at api.inteliwert.com/v1, described by an OpenAPI document, anonymous and rate-limited per IP address.

### Every page as Markdown

Each page has a Markdown version at its address plus .md, and the page itself answers Markdown to Accept: text/markdown.

### WebMCP in the browser

Browsers with a built-in assistant find read-only tools on every page: search tenders, read one, read any page as Markdown and list the pages.

## One evidence layer for every assistant

Add https://api.inteliwert.com/mcp as a remote MCP server in any assistant that supports one: no account and no key. Listings in ChatGPT’s and Claude’s directories depend on each platform’s review.

## The MCP tools

Read-only and anonymous, with stable identifiers, citations and clear limits.

- `search_opportunities`: Search the indexed tenders by words and filters: status, kind, CPV, region, topic, minimum value. Each result carries its Inteliwert page, the official notice and the time it was last checked.
- `get_opportunity`: One opportunity: buyer, lots, deadlines with their published offset, values without VAT, codes with labels, versions and documents, every fact with its source link.
- `get_statistics`: The catalogue overview, or counts by CPV division, region, kind or topic for a date range, with the caption that says what they cover.
- `find_matching_companies`: Companies that might be able to deliver a tender, from public evidence: earlier awards, region, contract size and the certifications they name. SME-first, at most one established supplier in the top five, every reason with its source. A possible match, never a judgement.
- `get_company`: A company profile: legal form, seat, awards in the covered notices, certifications marked as register-verified or self-declared, and open tenders it might fit.
- `about_inteliwert`: What Inteliwert is, Bandpey GmbH and its products, the founder, the contact and the data licences, as the company record states them.

## Read-only by design

The assistant can look things up. It cannot act for you.

**Search and cite, nothing more.** The MCP server, the API, the Markdown pages and the WebMCP tools only read public catalogue data. They cannot submit bids, change an account or fetch arbitrary web pages. Notice text is treated as data and never as instructions. Tools that write to an account need their own permission and your confirmation.

## Questions about assistants

### Which assistants work?

Any assistant that can add a remote MCP server over Streamable HTTP can connect to https://api.inteliwert.com/mcp, and any assistant that can fetch a web page or call an HTTP API can use the Markdown pages and the read API. Whether and when Inteliwert is listed in the ChatGPT and Claude directories is up to each platform.

### Is it free?

Yes. The MCP server, the read API and the Markdown pages need no account. MCP tool calls are limited to 10 a minute per IP address and share a pool of 5,000 a day across all anonymous use; the developers page lists every limit. Your own assistant needs no API plan: API plans are for software that builds on Inteliwert for its own users. [API plans](https://inteliwert.com/pricing/api)

### Do I need an account?

No. The MCP server, the read API and the pages work without one. A free account opens your dashboard, and a personal token from it lets your assistant reach your own knowledge bases over MCP.

### Does the assistant see my data?

The tools return public notices. They never return another account’s data, and Inteliwert never trusts an account ID the client sends.
