# Inteliwert auth.md

How AI agents and developers authenticate with https://inteliwert.com, the read API at https://api.inteliwert.com/v1 and the MCP server at https://api.inteliwert.com/mcp: they do not need to. This file is self-contained; Inteliwert publishes no OAuth metadata, because the website, the read API and the MCP server need no sign-in.

## Audience

AI agents, crawlers and developers that read the Inteliwert website or its Markdown versions, call the read API or connect to the MCP server.

## Supported methods

- Anonymous access, the only method. The pages, their Markdown versions (the page URL plus .md, or Accept: text/markdown), https://inteliwert.com/llms.txt, the discovery documents under https://inteliwert.com/.well-known/, the read API and the MCP server need no credentials.
- Access is rate-limited per client IP address. Over the limit the read API answers 429 with the code rate_limited and a Retry-After header; the MCP server answers 429 with a JSON-RPC error and Retry-After, and its anonymous tool calls also share a daily pool.

## Registration and provisioning

There is no agent registration, no API key and no OAuth for the public catalogue. People sign in to their own accounts in the dashboard at https://dashboard.inteliwert.com; a personal token from it connects an assistant to that person’s own knowledge bases, not to the services above.

## How to identify yourself

Send a User-Agent that names your agent or product and a URL or email address where we can reach you. Send no Authorization header, API key or cookie: they are not read.
