Die Wartung soll so verlängert werden, dass für alle Komponenten ein einheitliches Supportende von 22.04.2028 gesetzt ist. Zudem muss die Option enthalten sein, die Wartung der Systeme darüber hinaus jährlich, jeweils um ein weiteres Jahr, bis zum end of service life der Komponenten zur verlängern. Diese Option kann vom LRZ einseitig und ohne Zustimmung des Vertragspartners ausgeübt werden. Die Ausübung der Option muss spätestens einen Monat vor Ablauf der jeweiligen Vertragslaufzeit erfolgen.
