Insbesondere die Natursteinfassaden, Dach- und Tragwerkskonstruktionen sowie die historischen Bleiverglasungen weisen alters- und witterungsbedingte Schäden auf, die eine umfas-sende und aufeinander abgestimmte Sanierungsplanung erforderlich machen. Vor diesem Hintergrund soll die Stadtkirche unter Berücksichtigung denkmalpflegerischer, konstruk-tiver, restauratorischer und wirtschaftlicher Anforderungen nachhaltig instand gesetzt und für ihre zukünftige Nutzung langfristig gesichert werden. Ziel ist eine abschnittsweise umsetzbare Ge-samtsanierung unter größtmöglichem Erhalt der historischen Bausubstanz.
