Die Erfassung des Wasserverbrauchs erfolgt derzeit weitgehend über herkömmliche mechanische Flügelradzähler Der Umbau auf elektronische Funkwasserzähler soll schrittweise über die nächsten Jahre erfolgen. Die Hardware und Software IZAR mit MIOTY-Schnittstelle sind bereits für einen Teilbestand an Funkwasserzählern vorhanden. Dieser Bestand soll nun flächendeckend ausgebaut werden.
