Das Raumprogramm wurde in gemeinsamen Beratungsgesprächen mit der Feuerwehr festgelegt. Das Grundstück ist mit einer Zufahrt für Einsatzkräfte und einer getrennten Alarmausfahrt zu erschließen. Grundsätzlich können die Sozialbereiche in einem 2-geschoßigen Bauteil untergebracht werden. Angegliedert wird eine Fahrzeughalle mit 3 Stellplätzen, Lagerflächen und Werkstätten. Das Hygienekonzept sieht im gesamten Bereich eine klare Schwarz-Weiß-Trennung vor mit einer Verbindung ausschließlich über die Umkleiden. Eine Bypass-Möglichkeit für Sonderlagen ist zu berücksichtigen. Das Gebäude ist barrierefrei zu erschließen. Auf dem Gelände sind weiterhin Stellplätze für die Einsatzkräfte vorzusehen sowie eine Übungsfläche und Außenlagerflächen. Grundsätzlich ist das Gebäude als Teil der kritischen Infrastruktur in Massivbauweise zu errichten. Das Gelände ist einzufrieden und mit Toranlagen abzusichern. In der Entwurfsplanung ist eine Erweiterungsmöglichkeit für die Aufnahme weiterer Fahrzeuge und Personal der Ortswehr Rödersheim vorzusehen.
