(ATB) beabsichtigt die Errichtung eines nachhaltigen Rechenzentrumsmoduls (nachfolgend RZ-Modul genannt) in Holzbauweise unter Berücksichtigung diverser Nachhaltigkeitskriterien (biobasierte Materialien, natürliches Kältemittel, Energieeffizienz, CO2-Emissionswerte, etc.) zur lokalen Verarbeitung, Speicherung und Bereitstellung wissenschaftlicher Forschungs- und Versuchsdaten auf einem Neubau-Campus des ATB. Der genaue RZ-Modul-Standort inkl. Maximalabmessung und die Medienbindung sind bereits definiert. Das System ist als eigenständige, vorgefertigte IT Infrastruktur auszuführen und für den dauerhaften 24/7 Betrieb vorgesehen. Es dient der sicheren, stabilen und energieeffizienten Bereitstellung von IT Ressourcen im wissenschaftlichen Umfeld.
