Die Oberfinanzdirektion Baden-Württemberg plant innerhalb des 2.Bauabschnittes für das Bildungszentrum ein 5-geschossiges Unterkunftsgebäude als Wohnheim II (WH II) mit 114 Zimmern und einer 3-geschossigen Erweiterung (ERW) der Finanzschule mit Mensa und Klassenräumen.
Das Wohnheim wird als langgestreckter Baukörper mit einer Länge von ca. 48 m und einer Breite von ca. 14,5 m als Holzrahmenbau ausgeführt. Die Erweiterung hat eine Länge von ca. 29,5 m, eine Breite von ca. 17 m und wird als Holzskelettbau errichtet. Beide Gebäude werden mit Brettstapeldecken als Hybridkonstruktion mit Aufbeton errichtet.
