Die AG Zellbiologie des Instituts für Physiologie und Zellbiologie der Stiftung Tierärztliche Hochschule Hannover (TiHo) beabsichtigt, ein (1) vielseitiges und benutzerfreundliches, hochflexibles konfokales Spinning-Disk-Benchtop-Mikroskop für Forschungszwecke in der Zellbiologie anzuschaffen. Der Einsatz dieses Geräts soll die optische Untersuchung von fluoreszierenden Proteinen, Farbstoffen und anderen Reagenzien in lebenden und fixierten Zellen ermöglichen. Das System erfordert eine kombinierte Durchlichtbeleuchtung mit Brightfield und Differentialphasenkontrast, Weitfeld-Epifluoreszenz sowie Spinning-Disk-Konfokalmikroskopie für die Bildgebung von fixierten und lebenden Proben darunter Einzelzellen, Organoide, ganze Embryonen und Organfragmente. Das Mikroskop sollte in der Lage sein, die Anregung verschiedener Fluoreszenzemittersysteme, hochpräzises Scannen mit leistungsstarken Detektoren sowie Softwarepakete für die Bildanalyse, -darstellung und -präsentation zu kombinieren.
