Das Gebäude Halle 2 erhält eine neu zu installierende Sprinkleranlage, sowie trockene Steigleitung zur Unterstützung für die Feuerwehr im Brandfall. Es ist eine vollflächige Sprinklerung der Halle vorgesehen. Die Sprinkleranlage wird durch eine Pumpenanlage mit Wassernachspeisung aus dem Netz der örtlichen Wasserbetriebe in betriebsbereitem Zustand gehalten. Die Pumpe saugt das Löschwasser aus einem Vorratsbehälter im KG Kopfbau Raum H2.KG.KG.03.01. Das an die Wasserversorgung angeschlossene Rohrnetz aus Stahlrohr durchzieht alle zu schützende Gebäudeteile. Für die Sprinkleranlage ist eine gesicherte Energieversorgung der Anlage geplant. Das heißt, dass die Energieversorgung durch das öffentliche Netz und zusätzlich durch ein Notstromaggregat gewährleistet sein muss. Alle Bauteile der Sprinkleranlage müssen durch den VdS für die Verwendung zugelassen sein. Das gilt für Armaturen, Pumpen, Elektrobauteile, Rohrbefestigungen, Sprinkler, Mess- und Anzeigegeräte, Rohrleitungen und Rohrverbindungen. Zur Erleichterung wirksamer Löscharbeiten wird in den Treppenräumen F1, G1, AB, CD, KB1 und KB2 - wie im Brandschutzkonzept 19B0014-G1 vorgesehen geplant. Die Einspeisestellen sind jeweils am Zugang der Treppenräume bzw. der Fluchttunnel vorzusehen. Die Entnahmestellen sind auf den Hauptpodesten angeordnet.
