Die Vertragslaufzeit beträgt zunächst ein Jahr und beginnt zum 1. Januar 2027. Der Vertrag verlängert sich nach Ablauf der Vertragslaufzeit einmalig um ein weiteres Jahr, sofern er nicht mit einer Frist von 6 Monaten vor Ablauf der Vertragslaufzeit schriftlich gekündigt wird. Die maximale Vertragslaufzeit beträgt 2 Jahre, so dass das Vertragsverhältnis spätestens mit Ablauf des 31.12.2028 endet. Die Versicherungssumme der Luftfahrtbetriebshaftpflichtversicherung beträgt EUR 1,3 Mrd. inkl. einer Terrorhaftpflichtversicherung nach AVN52 in Höhe von USD 350 Mio.. Versichert wird die Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH, 12521 Berlin einschließlich aller bestehenden und neu hinzukommenden Tochtergesellschaften und rechtlich unselbständigen Betriebsstätten und Niederlassungen.
