    Das Land Hessen und die Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen beabsichtigen die Errichtung eines Forschungsneubaus, dem Institute for Lung Health (ILH), im Campusbereich Seltersberg/Medizin. Der geplante Gebäudekomplex besteht aus drei aufgehenden Geschossen und einer Teilunterkellerung. Im Innenbereich wird ein Lichthof hergestellt, welcher sich im Erdgeschoss zum Außenraum öffnet. Das Untergeschoss, welches aufgrund der Hanglage lediglich halbseitig in das Erdreich einbindet, dient der Erschließung zur Ver- und Entsorgung. Die Nutzung der Obergeschosse gliedert sich jeweils in einen Büro- und Sozial- sowie einen Laborbereich. Die Bruttogeschossfläche beträgt 6.100 m². Die Grundfläche des geplanten Neubaus beträgt rd. 1.837 m². Die Bruttogrundfläche aller Vollgeschosse ca. 6.100 m². Für den Neubau sind Trockenbau und Innentürarbeiten auszuführen.
