Das Scientific Computing Center (SCC) des Karlsruher Instituts für Technologie (KIT) beabsichtigt den Aufbau eines Campus-Netzwerks der nächsten Generation. Grundlage der Architektur bildet ein modernes Featureset unter Einsatz der Netzwerkvirtualisierungstechnologie EVPN/VXLAN, durchgängig bis zum Access-Port. Gegenstand dieser Ausschreibung ist die Etablierung des neuen Campus-Kern-Netzwerks sowie die Ausstattung eines ersten Gebäudes mit entsprechenden Access-Switches. Hierfür werden insgesamt vier unterschiedliche Geräteklassen benötigt, die im Leistungsverzeichnis näher spezifiziert werden.
