From the notice

Auf dem Areal der ehemaligen Sendeanlage am Stadtrand von Jülich und unmittelbarer Nähe zum Campus der FH Aachen entsteht derzeit ein Wissenschaftspark und innovatives Gewerbegebiet mit rd. 52 ha Fläche entstehen (im Folgenden: „Brainergy Park Jülich“). Der AG hat die Aufgabe, die Liegenschaften im Brainergy Park mit Wärme zu versorgen. Die Gebäude sollen über ein nahezu CO₂-neutrales Fernwärmesystem mit Wärme versorgt werden. Dieses wassergefüllte LowEx-Netz wird von einer zentralen Energiezentrale betrieben, die im Sommer für Kühlung und im Winter für Wärme sorgt. Gegenstand dieses Vergabeverfahrens ist ein Vertrag über die Lieferung, Aufstellung und Inbetriebnahmeunterstützung von Wärme- und Kältespeichern.
