Lot LOT-0001: Neubau eines Feuerwehrgerätehauses in Waurichen - Objektplanung
Die Löschgruppe Waurichen der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr Geilenkirchen erfüllt eine wichtige Funktion innerhalb der örtlichen Gefahrenabwehr. Da das derzeit genutzte Gebäude, das als Feuerwehrgerätehaus dient, in einem baulich unzureichenden Zustand ist, besteht die Notwendigkeit eines Neubaus. Geeignete Alternativen in Form bereits bestehender Gebäude stehen nicht zur Verfügung. Eine Sanierung oder Modernisierung des aktuellen Standorts wurde geprüft, aber aufgrund technischer und räumlicher Einschränkungen verworfen. Insbesondere die Fahrzeughalle bietet weder ausreichend Platz noch die erforderliche Tragfähigkeit, um Einsatzfahrzeuge nach heutigen Normen sicher unterzubringen. Der aktuelle Standort bietet somit keine langfristige Perspektive für den Feuerwehrbetrieb. Aus diesem Grund soll ein Neubau an einem neuen Standort geplant werden.
