Die Kreisstadt Merzig (nachfolgend: "Konzessionsgeber") hat das Ziel, flächendeckend leistungsfähige Zugänge zu Gigabitnetzen herzustellen. Zudem verfolgt der Konzessionsgeber das Ziel, seinen Wirtschaftsstandort zu stärken und die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit seiner Unternehmen sicherzustellen. Daher soll mit einem Telekommunikationsunternehmen ein Konzessionsvertrag über den Bau und den Betrieb von Gigabitnetzen sowie die Erbringung von Endkundendienstleistungen abgeschlossen werden. Der Konzessionsgeber hat dazu im Rahmen des Förderprogramms des Bundes "Förderung des Gigabitausbaus der Telekommunikationsnetze in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland - Gigabit-Richtlinie 2.0" einen Förderantrag gestellt und Fördermittel in vorläufiger Höhe bewilligt bekommen. Darüber hinaus hat der Konzessionsgeber eine Kofinanzierung nach der Richtlinie über die Kofinanzierung der Gigabitförderung des Bundes im Saarland ("Gigabit-Kofinanzierungsrichtlinie Saarland") beantragt und ebenfalls Fördermittel in vorläufiger Höhe bewilligt bekomm Einzelheiten entnehmen Sie bitte den Vergabeunterlagen, die unter https://www.dtvp.de/Satellite/notice/CXP4YKPM7H5/documents heruntergeladen werden können.
