From the notice

Zwischen den Mittelzentren Prenzlau und Templin liegt eine entwidmete Bahntrasse ohne Funktion, die auf etwa 32 km durch fünf Gemeinde- bzw. Amtsbereiche führt. Auf Grundlage des vorhandenen Radwegenetzes im Landkreis Uckermark soll ein asphaltierter Radweg entstehen, welcher zwei der vier Mittelzentren innerhalb der Uckermark direkt verbindet und hierbei die dazwischenliegenden Ämter und Gemeinden anschließt.
