Lot LOT-0001: Projekt Coal2Cloud Investorenauswahlverfahren zur Umnutzung des Kraftwerks Frimmersdorf
Gegenstand des Gesamtprojekts „Coal2Cloud“ ist die zur umfassenden Umnutzung eines ehemaligen Kraftwerkstandorts fortzusetzende Projektentwicklung sowie deren planerische und bauliche Umsetzung. Auf dem Gelände des ehemaligen Braunkohlekraftwerks am Standort Frimmersdorf soll ein Digitalpark entstehen. Wesentliche Projektbestandteile sind insbesondere der Bau eines modernen Hyperscale-Rechenzentrums mit Schwerpunkt KI, die Aufbereitung, Erschließung und Entwässerung der Bauflächen und die Umnutzung des Zentralen Kraftwerkbaus zum Herzstück des Digitalparks mit Räumen für Rechenzentren, Kommunikation, Veranstaltung und kreatives Arbeiten und weitere tragfähige Nutzungen.
