Die BWI GmbH erwägt, einen Rahmenvertrag über den Kauf von Unmanned Arial Vehicles (UAV/Drohne genannt) an welche Magnetometer zur Aufklärung von Minen und Wirkmitteln verlastet werden und der zeitlich unbefristeten Überlassung von zugehörigen Drohnensteuerungs-/Planungssoftware, Auswerte-/Kampfmittelerkennungssoftware zzgl. der notwendigen Pflege- und Supportleistungen. Darüber hinaus werden Dienstleistungen in Form von Weiterentwicklungsleistungen (dazu gehören auch Vor-Ort-Betreuungen von Truppenversuchen) und Ausbildungsleistungen benötigt. Der Rahmenvertrag wird in Höhe von 5.068.266,44 € (Obergrenze: 7.602.399,66 €) (netto) im Wege eines Verhandlungsverfahrens mit Teilnahmewettbewerb nach § 11 Abs. 1 S. 1 Alt. 2 VSVgV vergeben. Der Rahmenvertrag wird mit einer Laufzeit von maximal vier Jahren abgeschlossen.
