    Ziel des Projektes ist die Entwicklung, Einführung und operative Begleitung eines nachhaltigen Energiesparmodells in 14 Kindertagesstätten des DRK Bremen. Das Vorhaben soll zur Reduzierung des Energieverbrauchs, der Betriebskosten sowie der CO₂-Emissionen beitragen und gleichzeitig Mitarbeitende sowie Nutzende der Einrichtungen aktiv einbinden. Dabei richtet es sich zum einen an die Erzieher/-innen, die vielfältige Unterstützung erhalten, um die Kinder selbst an das Thema Energiesparen zum Klimaschutz heranzuführen und sie zu ermutigen, dieses Thema auch in ihr Elternhaus zu tragen. Zum anderen richtet es sich an die verantwortlichen Gebäudetechniker bzw. Hausmeister, die durch eine fachkundige Energieberatung einen ganz neuen Blick auf das Kita-Gebäude erhalten, so zu sagen durch die Energieeffizienz-Brille. Der ganzheitliche Ansatz durch die Verbindung von Pädagogik und Technik ist für die Kindertagesstätten besonders erfolgversprechend.
