Die Abfallwirtschaft Schleswig-Flensburg GmbH lässt die Betriebsstätte „Haferteich“ baulich unter den Bedingungen des BImSchG erweitern. Teil der zentralen Umschlaganlage ist die Annahme von PPK aus Sammelfahrzeugen und dem Umschlag auf Transportfahrzeugen. Zur Optimierung der Transportvorgänge (walking floor) soll die PPK mit Hilfe einer Kanalballenpresse verdichtet werden. Die dafür gewünschte Kanalballenpresse soll im Rahmen eines Verhandlungsverfahrens nach Teilnahmewettbewerb vergeben werden.
