From the notice

Aufgrund aktueller gesetzlicher Anforderungen der Grundwasserverordnung (GrwV) und der Allgemeinen Verwaltungsvorschrift zur Ausweisung von mit Nitrat belasteten und eutrophierten Gebieten (AVV GeA) nimmt die Berücksichtigung der Denitrifikation einschließlich der Ermittlung der Nitrateintragskonzentration in das Grundwasser in Sachsen-Anhalt eine immer wesentlichere Rolle in der Gewässerüberwachung ein. Daher soll mittels Membran-Inlet-Massenspektrometrie (MIMS-Methode) im Jahr 2027 und optional in zwei Folgejahren eine N2-Ar-Analytik an 500 Grundwasserproben zur Ermittlung der aktuellen Denitrifikation im Grundwasser im Land Sachsen-Anhalt durchgeführt werden. Die Analyseergebnisse sollen im Anschluss ausgewertet und interpretiert werden und sind in einem Abschlussbericht zu dokumentieren.
