Die Stadt Hürth beabsichtigt auf der Liegenschaft Albert-Schweitzer-Gymnasiums auf dem Grundstück Sudetenstraße 37, 50354 Hürth - Hermülheim, Gemarkung Hermülheim, Flur 10, Flurstück 87 eine Erweiterung und eine Energetische Sanierung durchzuführen. Das zu sanierende Hauptgebäude wurde im Jahr 1975 errichtet. Im Fokus der Energetischen Sanierung steht die Sanierung der Fenster und Türen, der Fassade sowie des Daches (= Energetische Sanierung). Im Erdgeschoss soll im Bereich der derzeitigen Bibliothek (Bauteil B) eine Erweiterung mit einer Fläche von ca. 420 m2 NUF errichtet werden (= Erweiterungsbau). Die Energetische Sanierung soll über Fördermittel aus dem Programm "Energetische Sanierung kommunaler Gebäude" des Ministeriums für Wirtschaft, Industrie, Klimaschutz und Energie des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen" refinanziert werden. Ein entsprechender Fördermittelantrag wurde bereits gestellt. Zur Umsetzung dieses Gesamtprojekts ist die Stadt Hürth auf Planungsleistungen aus den Leistungsbildern der Objektplanung, Technischen Ausrüstung (HLS und ELT) sowie der Tragwerksplanung angewiesen.
