Im Hauptbahnhof Hannover haben mehrere Strecken ihren Ursprung. Im Bahnsteig C gehören die Gleise 7 und 8 im westlichen Bereich zur Strecke 1710 und im östlichen Bereich zur Strecke 1733.Die Baumaßnahmen für die Erneuerung des Bahnsteig C erfolgen auf den Flächen der DB AG. Der Grundstückseigentümer ist die DB-Fahrwege. Information allgemeine Maßnahme • Baubeginn des Vorhabens ist für Frühjahr 2029 geplant. • In 2029 wird das Bauprovisorium für die Aufrechterhaltung des im Betrieb befindlichen Gleises errichtet. • Anschließend wird das Bahnsteigdach zurückgebaut sowie der Bahnsteig einschl. der darunterliegenden Abdichtungsbauwerke erneuert. • In 2030 wird das Bahnsteigdach oberhalb des Bahnsteiges sowie alle Abdichtungsbauwerke im Gleisbereich erneuert. • Das Geplante Bauende ist für Ende 2030 an versiert. Die Baudurchführung ist in folgende Bauphasen gegliedert:  Bauphase 0: Neubau EW-Schächte, Aufbau Provisorium Einhausung  Bauphase 1: Aufbau Provisorium (Stahlrahmen, Treppenportale, Postrampe)  Bauphase 2: Aufbau prov. Dachhaut Einhausung, Rückbau Dacheindeckung und techn. Ausrüstung am Dach  Bauphase 3: Montage Dachhaut prov. Rampenüberdachung, Rückbau Bahnsteigdach Gleis 7  Bauphase 4: Rückbau Bahnsteigdach Gleis 8  Bauphase 5: Rück- und Neubau Bahnsteig Gleis 7  Bauphase 6: Rück- und Neubau Bahnsteig Gleis 8  Bauphase 7: Neubau Bahnsteigdach Gleis 8  Bauphase 8: Neubau Bahnsteigdach Gleis 7, Montage Dachausrüstung, Rückbau Provisorium  Bauphase 9-10: Herstellung Wartehäuser, Erneuerung der Sanierungsbauwerke im Gleisbereich Gl. 40+7  Bauphase 11: Erneuerung der Sanierungsbauwerke im Gleisbereich Gl. 70+8
