Die Verbandsgemeindewerke Hachenburg und Westerburg beabsichtigen im Rahmen der zukünftigen Versorgungssicherheit und des interkommunalen Wasserleitungsverbunds die Errichtung von zwei Hochbehältern und einer 7,4 km langen Verbundleitung zwischen den beiden Hochbehältern.
