Der Bau der Rheinwassertransportleitung durch RWE am Tagebau Hambach schreitet voran. Die offen sichtbaren Einleitbauwerke sollen durch die Neuland Hambach GmbH inszeniert und der Prozess der Wassereinleitung der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht werden. Für die Planung der Freianlagen ist bereits ein Büro beauftragt, für die Bauwerke, die einen Blick auf das Wasser ermöglichen und Raum für erste infrastrukturelle Einrichtungen bieten sollen, wird hier ein Planer gesucht, der die Objektplanung, die Tragwerksplanung und die Planung der technischen Ausrüstung übernimmt. Damit sich die Gestaltung der Bauwerke in die umgebende Freiraumgestaltung qualitativ einfügt und aufgrund der herausfordernden Gründungssituation soll das Planungsteam auch einen Freiraumplaner und eine geotechnische Experise umfassen.
