Die Kreisstadt Steinfurt beabsichtigt, das Flurstück 43, 141 am Stadteingang zum Ortsteil Burgsteinfurt (insgesamt ca. 18.947 qm), mit dem Ziel der Realisierung eines Gewerbeprojekts, zu veräußern. Das Grundstück befindet sich im derzeit unbebauten Zustand. Durch die verkehrlich günstige Lage sowie die Nähe zum Technologiecampus der FH Münster bietet das Grundstück ideale Voraussetzungen für innovative, wachstumsorientierte Unternehmensansiedlungen. Die Kreisstadt Steinfurt beabsichtigt, die Fläche zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt an einen Investor zu veräußern. In diesem Zusammenhang sollen Gespräche mit Interessenten geführt werden.
