  1. Lot LOT-0001: Hexapole for 18 GHz ECRIS

    Für die Neuanlage einer GSI Ionenquelle soll ein Hexapol Permanent Magnet (Halbach-Typ 36 Segmente) beschafft werden. Das Magnetsystem für eine Elektronen-Zyklotron-Resonanz-Ionenquelle (ECRIS) sorgt für den Einschluss des Plasmas, um hochgeladene schwere Ionen zu erzeugen. Das endgültige Magnetsystem besteht aus drei (3) Magnetspulen zur Bildung des Spiegelmagnetfelds in axialer Richtung und einem Hexapolmagneten zur Erzeugung des radialen Magnetfelds. Die Überlagerung dieser beiden Systeme führt zu einer sogenannten Minimum-B-Konfiguration des Magnetfeldes. Dieses Magnetfeld ermöglicht einen magnetisch stabilen Einschluss des Plasmas was für einen Betrieb als Ionenquelle benötigt wird. Da dieses System ein wesentlicher Bestandteil einer komplexen mechanischen Geometrie und eines modularen Systems ist, unterliegen die Abmessungen und technischen Parameter der Erfüllung strenger Bedingungen. Die Ausschreibung umfasst hier ein Hexapol Magnet System in Halbach Struktur mit 36 Segmenten in seinem Gehäuse. Dieser Hexapol in seinem Gehäuse wird in einem Vakuum positioniert und im Betrieb auf bis zu -10 °C abgekühlt. Hierbei wirkt im Betrieb ein starkes Magnetfeld von den 3 außenliegenden Spulen auf den Hexapol in seinem Gehäuse.
