From the notice

An der Mittelpunktgrundschule in Hungen soll der Raumbedarf durch eine Erweiterung gedeckt werden. Der zwei geschossige Neubau wird in Holzbauweise errichtet. Die Konstruktion besteht aus Holzständerwänden und Brettsperrholzdecken. Die innere Tragstruktur ist als Skelettbau mit wenigen Stahlstützen und darüberliegenden Holzträgern geplant. Die Außenverkleidung ist mit einer vorgehängten grau lasierten Holzverkleidung vorgesehen. Außerdem soll durch Umstrukturierungen im Bestand ein adäquater Küchen- und Mensabereich geschaffen werden (2.BA). Durch acht neue Klassenräume, eine Bibliothek, Büro- und Differenzierungsräume soll der Raumbedarf gedeckt werden.
