Gegenstand der Beschaffung ist die Etablierung einer automatisierten Plattform für die Wasserstoff-Deuterium-Austausch-Massenspektrometrie (HDX-MS) an der Universitätsmedizin Greifswald einschließlich der erforderlichen HDX-Automatisierung, chromatographischen Trennung, Steuerungs- und Analysesoftware sowie der technischen Integration in die am Standort bereits vorhandene hochauflösende Massenspektrometrie. Die Beschaffung dient der Erweiterung der bestehenden Infrastruktur der Abteilung Funktionelle Genomforschung um eine bislang am Standort nicht verfügbare standardisierte und automatisierte Analytik zur Untersuchung von Proteindynamik, Konformationsänderungen sowie Protein-Protein- und Protein-Ligand-Interaktionen unter lösungsnahen Bedingungen. Die HDX-MS ermöglicht hierbei insbesondere die Untersuchung dynamischer struktureller Zustände und Interaktionsprozesse, die mit den am Standort vorhandenen klassischen strukturbiologischen und proteomischen Verfahren nicht in gleicher Weise erfasst werden können.
