Die Eisenbahngleise des Fähranlegers müssen aufgrund des Erreichens der Verschleißgrenze erneuert werden. Hierfür müssen der Gussasphalt und die alten Gleise entfernt und neu gefertigte Spezialgleise aufgeschweißt werden. Anschließend wird der Gussasphalt wiederhergestellt.
