From the notice

Die schweren Unwetter im Juli 2021 haben die Bahninfrastruktur in Rheinland-Pfalz und Nordrhein-Westfalen schwer getroffen. Besonders Brücken- und Stützbauwerke sowie Stellwerke entlang der Strecken wurden beschädigt und teils vollständig zerstört. Hinzu kommen viele Kilometer Gleise, Bahnübergänge sowie Bahnhöfe, die wieder aufgebaut werden müssen. Für das Projekt müssen im gesamten Vermessungsbereich PS0-Punkte überprüft sowie PS0-Spangen mit PS1-Punkten verdichtet werden. Das Zielsystem der Maßnahme ist in Lage und Höhe DB_REF2016. Außerdem soll in allen Bereichen der Elektrifizierung auch das PS4-Festpunktfeld ins DB_REF2016 überführt werden. Ein gleisgeometrisches Aufmaß mit anschließender Bestandstrassierung in den angegebenen Messgebieten soll durchgeführt werden. Das Ziel der Messung ist ein Grundlagennetz und ein gleisgeometrisches Aufmaß im benannten Projektgebiet der Eifelstrecke zu erhalten. Das Festpunktfeld, Trassendaten und -pläne liegen aktuell größtenteils in heterogenen Bezugssystemen vor, jedoch ist aufgrund der damaligen Unwetterauswirkungen nicht sichergestellt, dass das Festpunktfeld gemäß Datengrundlage sowie die Gleislage noch dem ursprünglichen Zustand gemäß Solltrassierung entspricht.
