Mit dem Projekt "Erweiterung des Wallraf-Richartz-Museums & Fondation Corboud" plant die Stadt Köln, in der Kölner Altstadt einen Gebäudekomplex zu errichten, der das Wallraf-Richartz-Museum & Fondation Corboud (des Architekts O.M. Ungers) mit einer unterirdischen Erschließung durch ein Verbindungsbauwerk erweitert. Daneben soll eine Generalinstandsetzung des Haupthauses erfolgen. Gegenstand der ausgeschriebenen Bauleistungen ist das Gewerk Metallbauarbeiten Außentüren und Fenster zur Generalinstandsetzung des Haupthauses des Wallraf-Richartz-Museums. Ziel ist die umfassende technische Erneuerung des Bestandsgebäudes sowie dessen bauliche und funktionale Anbindung an den Erweiterungsbau. Die Fertigstellung der Instandsetzung soll zeitlich mit dem Abschluss des Neubaus abgestimmt werden, um eine koordinierte Inbetriebnahme und Nutzung beider Gebäudeteile zu ermöglichen. Die teilweise notwendige Zusammenführung der Gewerke Metallbauarbeiten Außentüren und Fenster sowie der parallel stattfindenden Gewerke Innenausbau (GUInnenausbau), KG 400 (HLSK und ELT), Dachabdichtungsarbeiten, Naturstein-Fassade und übergeordnete Baulogistik erfordern grundsätzlich ein hohes Maß an Koordination und Kooperation zwischen den Baubeteiligten, so dass die entsprechenden Abstimmungen der maßgeblichen Arbeitsprozesse unter größtmöglicher gegenseitiger Rücksichtnahme zu erfolgen haben.
