From the notice

Gegenstand der Ausschreibung ist die Lieferung und Dienstleistung von Flockungsmittel für das Klärwerk Koblenz. Die Kläranlage Koblenz behandelt hauptsächlich kommunales Abwasser. Laut Bescheid hat sie eine Ausbaugröße von 320.000 EW. Mit einem Einwohnerwert von rund 154.000 EW (in 2022) behandelt sie jedoch weniger Fracht als ursprünglich vorgesehen. 126.000 Einwohner sind reell angeschlossen (Einwohnerzahl EZ). Die restlichen 28.000 Einwohnergleichwerte (EWG) sind industriellen Ursprungs (EZ+EWG=EW). Damit ergibt sich ein Industrieanteil des zu behandelnden Abwassers von rund 18%. Haupteinleiter sind die Papierindustrie, das Metallgewerbe und eine Mälzerei. Die maschinelle Faulschlammentwässerung erfolgt mit zwei Dekantern (X4E-4/454, BJ 2023). Die Entwässerung soll mit bestmöglichem Austrags TR bei optimalem Polymerbrauch durchgeführt werden. Der Abscheidegrad liegt bei > 98% (gem. DWA M-383); das Zentrat wird zurück zur Kläranlage geleitet. Für die Eindickung und Entwässerung wird ein Emulsionspolymer eingesetzt. Der anfallende Überschussschlamm wird mit drei Zentrifugen (GEA UCD 346 BJ 2012) unter Einsatz von Emulsionspolymeren maschinell eingedickt.
